Our staff and leaders

I grew up near Honolulu, Hawaii. My mother was saved through the ministry of a woman in the neighborhood who befriended her and invited her to church. Soon afterward, she placed her faith in Christ, and it was through my mother’s witness that I became a Christian as well. I came to faith in Jesus through when I was 12 and was baptized in my home church.

I attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, where I received a bachelor’s degree in piano performance. I later enrolled in Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, where I received my masters of divinity and church music degrees.

I have served as English pastor at CGF Manhattan since May 2016. I’m married to Lauren, who is an amazing wife, friend, and partner in ministry. I enjoy watching sports, pickling vegetables, trying new restaurants around the city, and exercising from time to time.

It is my hope and prayer that CGF would grow into a family of men, women, and young people who knows and loves the one true God rightly, and that we would walk in God’s truth and grace. It is my hope that the true worship of God would inform our love for neighbor and that we would increasingly be a blessing to the city.
